1) Population in Cambodia

* Between in 1874and 1921 the total population in Cambodia increased from about 946,000 to 2.4 million.

* From the 1960s until 1975 the population of Cambodia increased by about 2.2 percent yearly.

* Of the total an estimated one million to two million reportedly died between 1975 and 1978.

* In 1981 the population as nearly 6.7 million.

* In 2007 the latest report of the total population is 14,131,853.

2). Climate in Cambodia

* Cambodia is located in the Southeast Asia, in the tropical zone, just 10-13 degrees north of the equator.
* Cambodia is eliminated by the annual monsoon cycle with it alternative wet and dry seasons that create the two main seasons.

* The monsoon cycle is effectively creating for four small annual seasons in Cambodia:

1, cool and dry (November- February)

2, hot and dry (March- May)
